• Extracted and processed information from uploaded files (PDFs, DOCX, images, and text) for summarization purposes
• Generated summaries (stored unless deleted by the user)
• Credit consumption records for document processing
• We do not store the original uploaded documents

2.3 Payment Information

• We do not store credit card information or payment details
• All payment processing is handled securely through Apple's App Store
• We maintain records of:
   - Credit purchase history
   - Credit usage and balance
   - Transaction timestamps
• This information is used for:
   - Account management
   - Customer support
   - Usage analytics
   - Fraud prevention

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

• Device information (e.g., model, OS version, unique identifiers)

• Supabase (authentication & database storage)
• Microsoft Azure (cloud services for data processing)
• OpenAI (text processing API; processed text is sent for summarization but not stored)
• Apple (payment processing; we do not store financial details)

5. Data Storage & Retention

• Summaries are stored in your account and remain accessible until you delete them
• Extracted and processed information from documents is stored, but the original documents are not retained
• User accounts and associated data can be deleted upon request
• We do not delete user data due to inactivity

6. Security Measures

We implement reasonable security measures to protect user data, including:
• Encryption of stored data via Supabase
• Secure authentication via Supabase
• Login rate limiting to prevent brute-force attacks
• Regular security audits

7. User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Opt-out of marketing emails (not applicable since we do not currently send marketing emails)

BreezeRead is not intended for children under 13 years old (16 for EU users). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us for removal.

• We rely on Supabase, Microsoft Azure, OpenAI, and RevenueCat, which are GDPR-compliant
• Users can request account deletion at any time
• We do not sell personal data but include a "Do Not Sell My Data" statement for CCPA compliance

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If significant changes occur, we will notify users via email or in-app alerts.
